Growing up in the quiet, rugged beauty of Bryce Canyon, Utah, I learned early the values of hard work, integrity, and community—principles that have guided me through every stage of my life and career. As a third-generation military veteran, with my grandfather serving in Korea, my father in Vietnam, and my own service in the Army National Guard, I carry a deep respect for duty, sacrifice, and leadership.

I began my professional journey in the world of finance, spending over a decade as a commercial lender and private banker, helping individuals and business owners navigate their financial challenges and seize opportunities. That experience gave me a keen understanding of both personal and business finance—a foundation that would later serve me well in wealth planning and investment strategy.

Driven by a passion to fuel local growth, I became the managing partner of the Idaho Expansion Group, an angel investment firm dedicated to empowering small businesses. Over a 10-year period, our strategic investments yielded a 700% return, underscoring the power of disciplined, community-focused investing.

From 2017 to 2025, I served as the managing partner of a large financial planning firm, leading a team of professionals and helping countless families align their financial lives with their personal values and long-term goals. In 2025, I sold my ownership stake to focus more intentionally on client relationships and community service.

Civic engagement has always been central to my life. I've served 16 years on the Ammon City Council, held the role of President of the Idaho Estate Planning Council, and dedicated a decade to the College of Eastern Idaho Scholarship Foundation Board. I've also contributed as a board member for the Greater Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce, all while living my Christian faith through active ministry and neighborly service.

I believe deeply that a community is only as strong as the collective involvement of its residents, and I strive to lead by example—both professionally and personally.

When I’m not meeting with clients or serving the community, you’ll likely find me fishing, enjoying the outdoors with my family, or sharing a good laugh with friends. I'm a people-person at heart, known for my sense of humor, loyalty, and genuine care for the well-being of those around me.
